Alphonso Davies has set a new speed record in Bayern Munich’s title-clinching game at Werder Bremen on the 32nd Matchday of the 2019/2020 Bundesliga season. Alphonso is just 19 years old Canadian who made a record of about 22.7 mph by overtaking Borussia Dortmund’s defender AchrafHakimi’s league record which was best in the world – 22.49 mph. This has made Alphonso Davis the fastest player in Germany’s top flight, which is to begin in the year 2011.
Later, he declared in the official site of Bundesliga that he had lost his first job. He further continued that “I don’t know when it happened [breaking the speed record], but I just do my job defensively, trying to get the ball back, but I’m happy that I can break a record.”
